Liberty Resources appoints Linda Slate as Director of Finance

SYRACUSE, NY (March 18, 2025) — Liberty Resources is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda Slate to the role of Director of Finance.

In her role, Slate will be responsible for the agency’s accounting operations, financial policies and procedures, and reporting systems.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration degree from Syracuse University.

With more than three decades of experience in financial management, Slate brings a wealth of knowledge to her role.  Most recently, she served as an Assistant Director in the Office of Budget and Planning at Syracuse University.  Slate was previously employed by Liberty Resources as an Accounting Manager and Finance Specialist.  Additionally, Slate volunteers as Treasurer for Contact Community Services’ Board of Directors.
