Every person deserves the chance to heal themselves, repair their relationships, rejoin their communities and restore balance to their lives. Our team is here to guide you, empower you and share the hope of a better future.
Real recovery from addiction to drugs or alcohol requires so much more than abstinence. We take a holistic approach by equipping our clients with the skills necessary to experience joyful, and fulfilling lives in recovery.

FOR FAMILIES & LOVED ONES
Watching someone you love go through the turbulence of substance abuce can be difficult. But there is hope. It is never too late to begin the process of healing.
Warning Signs
- Physical signs include small pupils, loss or increase in appetite and weight, chronic flu-like symptoms, hiding arms in long sleeves or similar attire.
- Behavioral changes such as avoiding contact with family and friends, drop in performance at work or school, or moodiness and irritability.
- Hygiene and appearance changes including unusual odors or the smell of smoke on clothes or breath, burns or soot on fingers or lips, or messier than usual appearance.
What Can You Do
- Share your concerns with other friends and family members. If you agree about your concerns, put together a plan to discuss with the person.
- When confronting someone about substance use, identify an appropriate place and time that is private with limited distractions. Be direct in expressing your concerns and actively listen to any responses. Helping your loved one does not happen overnight.
- Find resources and support in your area. Use findtreatment.gov to find a substance use and mental health facility that can help your loved one take the first steps in recovery.
- Get in touch with a substance use or mental health professional about how to help. Be prepared to provide details such as type of drugs or alcohol being, how much the person is using, how often they are using, and the person’s response to discussions about their substance use.
- Develop a safety plan to protect yourself, family members, and close friends from potential physical harm.
